Card Description

Conquistadors were Spanish expeditionary soldiers who accompanied campaigns of exploration and conquest across the Americas and Asia. In the Philippines, Spanish forces fought alongside local allies and used European weapons, armor, and firearms during campaigns that established Spanish footholds in Cebu and later Manila. Under commanders such as Ferdinand Magellan and Miguel López de Legazpi, these soldiers took part in conflicts that marked the beginning of Spanish expansion and colonial rule in the archipelago. This card is part of the Battle of Mactan set from the Maharlika Series.
