Card Description

Datu Zula was one of the rulers of Mactan during the arrival of Ferdinand Magellan's expedition in 1521. According to Antonio Pigafetta's account, Zula recognized Spanish authority but was unable to compel Lapulapu, another ruler of Mactan, to do the same. The dispute contributed to the events leading to the Battle of Mactan, where Magellan was killed. This card is part of the Battle of Mactan set from the Maharlika Series.
