Card Description

Hara Humamay, the queen and chief consort of Rajah Humabon of Cebu, was among the first recorded Christian converts in the Philippines. In 1521, she was baptized as Juana and received a Santo Niño, a statue of the Child Jesus presented to her by Antonio Pigafetta. The statue is revered today as the Santo Niño of Cebu, a religious relic preserved at the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño in Cebu. This card is part of the Battle of Mactan set from the Maharlika Series.
