Card Description

Long before foreign conquest, the islands of the Philippine archipelago were home to fierce warriors who defended their communities, served their rulers, and fought in conflicts between rival settlements and kingdoms. Armed with traditional weapons such as the kampilan, kris, sibat, and kalasag, they wore protective armor such as the barote, pakil, and batung-batung, reflecting the diverse martial traditions of the archipelago. Known collectively as mandirigma, these warriors relied on combat skills, courage, and generations of martial knowledge. They represent the fighting spirit, strength, and resilience of the early peoples of the Philippines. This card is a Promo Card from the Maharlika Series.
